The WP2-STUDY is responsible for the analysis of the target Traditional Sports and Games (TSG), including individual/team, court, field or indoor/outdoor sport, and the deep examination of a subset of them. During the first three months, the RePlay consortium has identified the basic set of elements, objects or movements characterizing the selected traditional sport to be tracked in the motion capture and analysis tasks of the project. The outcome is a study of sporting equipment and apparel, movement techniques and movement patterns in TSG that reflect their origins, evolution and current status as the starting point for the design of the capture platform.
